Mophunโ Mophun is a software based gaming console for mobile devices, developed by Synergenix (Sweden). It is designed to bridge the gap between developing mobile games and developing traditional console based games. Up until now all mobile games have been created using an embedded approach, thereby severely restricting the opportunities for game developers to create games for the mobile handset market. Synergenix has spent two years developing a solution to this key issue. The programing langauge is C an C++.
WGETTPCom's Wireless Graphics Engine (WGE) delivers a graphically enhanced MMI, accelerated Java applications and a handheld console like gaming experience to mobile phones. With WGE it is possible to take advantage of the GSM, GPRS, EDGE, CDMA or 3G networks by downloading new games and applications over the air, sending SMS, EMS or MMS messages between users and creating multi-user content and games. Technologies, such as BluetoothT is also available so that a whole new world of possibilities is opened up to application and game developers.
