Hi all,

Now the government in Shenzhen of China is encouraging enterprises of cross border e-commerce to set up independent websites with government subsides maximum amount reaching to 3million RMB, improving their ability of developing overseas market. And what do you think about it?

Hope you have a great weekend.

Good development. The only fear is that some strings might be attached. For example, company must have certain percent of local shareholders or local input etc. Just saying.
Or make you dissapear if you had the audacity to criticize the Chinese gov. (Such as what you did here; take freedoms for granted

(See: Jack Ma) LOL

Any new regulations regarding websites that are hosted on Chinese soil and their licensing requirements with the ICP?

Otherwise, setting up Chinese websites is still a real pain. They need to lower the entry barrier for new sites to actual reach oversea markets, that would be newsworthy.
