Google Domains? Thoughts?

So what is everyone's opinion on Google Domains? I know without bulk tools and a few other features it may not appeal to domainers with tons of domains...but after transferring over a few domains, it seems like it would be pretty good for an individual or small business (which is what they are targeting).

For those that have used Google Domains, what is your opinion on them?

And maybe more importantly, would you/do you 'trust' Google with your domains more than you would trust another registrar? I mean obviously Google isn't going to close up shop tomorrow or try to hold your domains hostage, so I would think there might be a little more trust with that...especially after some good registrars have gone down hill after a change in ownership or management.

So, Namecheap doesn't use their own registrar either...and they've been accredited for years...yet they still get recommended around here?
And to be fair, Google used MarkMonitor long before they became a registrar.

NC had all their domains registered at Namecheap Inc.

New gtlds and cctlds are registered with NC.

Since when? If you do a WHOIS on Namecheap, it shows Enom. And the few domains I have with Namecheap also show Enom.

Regarding Google Domanis, no I wouldn't use them. Concerned they main goal is to check DNS queries to give worse SEO rankings to small businesses and webmasters.

On a trust scale, a big yes. I don't think Google is going anywhere. Their pricing is moderate to high. It would actually be worth it if G Suite was included with every domain.

Although not officially announced, I'm noticing in control panel Canada and UK are available now for billing.
