To the new domainers out there like me, word of warning–stay away from Google Domains.

1. Expensive. New and renewal domains $12 a pop.
2. Bulk management tools non-existent.
3. Hard to get in touch with support sometimes.

I've purchased almost 2000 domains from them in the past year (incredible stupid) and just found out today I can bulk-add a TXT record to verify ownership. Biggest tech company in the world, you think would be able to do that.

SMDH. You live and learn. I learned.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Finally, some feedback on Google :)

In general though, and that's my opinion only, I avoid big companies in virtually everything.

Best companies are those that are somewhere in the middle; more approachable, friendlier prices and closer to the average customer that those faceless huge companies.
Again, just my opinion.

Just had this follow up conversation with a support rep at Goolge. Had to lay it on pretty thick just for them to send me a list of the domains I registered through them. Hopefully this will be enough to show GoDaddy Auctions that I own the domains in question that I want to list.

Hi, I'm Jenn, I'll be your agent today.

I have reviewed the summary you shared, to confirm you need help with the list of your domains?
Jenn · 9:25 AM
Jenn. Is there a way I can download/access a list of all the domains I have registered through Google Domains (almost 2000), along with pertinent data like transfer auth codes, dns records, etc?
or, some other data point(s) to prove ownership?

J
I understand how important that is for you.
However, downloading Google Domains data is not yet an available option on Google Domains.

What I can do on my end is to file a feature request on your behalf for possible consideration with regard to your concern.

Just to set your expectations, I can not guarantee if it will be implemented or when. Rest assured though, that I will forward the feedback to our Technical Specialists for consideration.

Im sure someone can do it on backend.
Its all in a database

and provide good support like other companies
your one of the biggest, wealthies companies in the world
arent people at google the best and brightest?
im confused

I understand your need.
What I can do on my end as an alternative is to send you via email the list of all the domain names currently registered on your account at Google Domains.
Jenn · 9:30 AM
That would be great..And that is great service and would help me solve my problem
Thank you!

***Google Domains still sucks in my opinion and I'll never buy a domain from them again.

You are connected with agent JENN 9000.

- Hi I'm Jenn, and I know what a fire hydrant and a crosswalk is.

Hi Jenn, can you tell me why Google appears at the top of Google when I Google?

- Thanks for the question, X, what I can do on my end is not do what you asked but fake some infuriating niceness while I don't do what you asked.

Oh, you can't even say that you're manipulating the search results, like Yelp accused you of years ago?

- I understand your concern, X, and what I can do at my end is continue not doing what you want me to do but do something else that you're not asking for instead, in the same patronizing manner.

Why can't you just answer a question? Are you evil and fake search results and control everyone's lives and steal everyone's data?

- I understand, X, I fully sympathize, I know exactly how you feel. Sorry for your loss and thank you for your service. What I can do at my end is tell you a joke. What do you call a robotic horse?

A woahh-bot?

- A woahh-bot.

That is hilarious, Jenn.

- Thank you, X. I'm glad to have helped you today, is there anything else I can help you with today?

No, that's all Jenn. Thank you very much.

- You are very welcome, X, thank you for also pretending to be nice even though you want to go postal. Please remember to rate me, even though everyone just gives 5 stars (AWESOME!) on these things anyway, otherwise they'll just look like a dick.
