.tv GoDaddy not registering '.tv's?

Okay, maybe it's a little late and my eyes are blurry, but I swear I cannot reg a .tv from godaddy tonight. I like the convenience of using paypal there, I do hope it's just a momentary issue on their side!

I just spent about 10 minutes on the phone with godaddy tech support and I 'm sure I sounded like an idiot but I'm having the same problem. He said he couldn't duplicate the problem. He probably thought I was new to the internet and didn't know how to use the search. :hehe:

I tried to find the .tv in the drop down menu but it's not there. Also, tech support told me to just type whateveryouwant.tv into the search but when I do that I get "Only the following domain extensions are allowed for registrations..." and .tv was not one of them.

I also called a friend and he had the same problem so it's good to know that I'm not alone but Godaddy is obviously not aware of the issue because it's not happening on their end.

UGHHH! *puzzled*

OK, Everything is back up for me now...around 2:40 am EST. time U.S.
