Hello Dear members, I recently purchased a domain name in auctions, I found it on expireddomains.net in godaddy closeouts, I waited to change the Name servers and put it for sale, Today I wake up on an email from goddady telling me that they Refunded me, which I did not ask, I reached out to them and they told me it was an error form their end, they checked to get me the domain back, but it was no longer available, and they told me to pay for dbs services 199$ "broker" and extra 20% to get me the domain back, of course I did not approved that , and they told me to reach out to goddady auctions team, What your thoughts ??

Did they explain the reason in the refund email?

Often the original domain name owner decides to renew at the last minute. This results in the auction being cancelled and the payment being refunded.

they sent me two emails, one for refund and one for removing the product, the emails are normal they do not mention any reason for doing so, it was like I am the one who asked the refund
