I am now getting $xxx offers almost every day on new gTLDs, that I have listed for $xxxx. I just received one on e-mail, a few minutes ago.

The potential buyers are often telling me it is for a hobby or an art project, but a "cynical side" of me believes that some / many of these offers are made by other domainers?!

However, I have changed my strategy. My wife just sold a land plot, so we have money for this and next year. Therefore, I have decided to not sell as cheap as before, but rather wait for end-users, or domainers with deeper pockets. The future will tell if my decision was right or wrong.

However, I have never believed so much in new gTLDs, as I do now. And this is the honest truth.

I feel the same. Although there are hundreds of new extensions, many of them are very narrow, which means only few combos have really high resell potential per such extensions. This means the amount of really good combos in gTLD space is semantically limited (some can call then also "lottery tickets to early retirement"), while there are billions of potential end users. So if one is lucky to have some nice combos, it is sometimes wise to skip XXX deals (if there is no urgency for cashlow, of course) and wait for a better deal.

I think many of those 500 - 1000 offers are now coming from other domainers, because it simply can not be end users - for example recently I got an 800 offer from someone for my domain swift / network - I googled a bit, found person is from Canada, so I went to see what is going on with this combo on .ca - and of course, MASSIVE infrastructure project with hundreds of millions of funding. So I countered mid xx xxx, and person offered me 1000, like if that was a big deal, lol. Then explaining the usual stuff about max budget, etc.. I refused and cancelled negotiation. Some domainers are really tricky, imo :)

    No...
~95% are endusers... with low budget... and can't purchase the traditional domains...
So nTLDs - the only one alternative for them...

p.s. Domainers can be distinguished very easy...
And most of them even don't hide that they are domainers.

    And also many idiots...
For example, I recently received a few offers from Chicago per one of my .life domains...
    $50 >>> $100 >>> $150 >>> $200
And when I have started $200 transaction at Payoneer Escrow - this bidder disappeared...

Sounds familiar. I recall one of my first domain sales was jump.world for low $X,XXX and seller told the broker it was for project but immediately went on uniregistry and remains there after two years.
