Criterias:

1) Must be a dictionary word that's common.

2) Should not exceed 5L

3) must be taken in at least 100 other extensions check dotdb.com to know.
I however prefer 200 and above.

4) GoDaddy valuation for .com must be above $25k, valuation is just for price reference, don't base on it.

Yes you have a point but at the same time it all boils down to the buyer's choice...a buyer might be willing to spend $25k for a non .com domain even when the .com might be available for $10k.

For instance, I had a chat with a founder on discord, the are also into yield farming, I approached him with the .com and he said NO.

Just to site a clear example with band finance, the company is making use of band.finance and I own bandfinance.com, I approached them to take it for $1000 and he told me yield aggregators prefer .finance and that he has no interest in the .com

The domain is also a one dictionary word.finance

So these guys are just following the trend in there industry.
