Better word required for the first one. Labelling something a "geriatric home" can come across as a little insensitive and unwelcoming. They're typically retirement homes, care homes, elderly care, senior care etc. Something a little warmer, the way it comes across. The second domain misses the mark for me too, again better word required (such as lessons, and yes it's taken). IMO
