I have not been on the forum in some time. I am looking to sell a geo .TV domain name.

Has anyone here been following them, or can perhaps provide an update on any recent sales. I want to get an idea what premium .TV domains have been going for in the last year.

Thanks very much.

Check the normal places - Namebio, DNJournal, Search the Forums, Domaintools, Estibot.

It really depends on what you have.

Depends on what is "Premium".

I know cities that have +200K population that are unregged in the English Language (being the secondary). A name in its native tongue will sometimes be worth more than one that isn't - especially true as you get to languages that are more naturally typed in by its residents.

I know cities in the UK that have 70,000 residents that are dropping. I know cities in the UK that you won't get even if you throw $20,000 on the table.

The only name that I can add to the list from memory is Bahamas.TV which was $10K and some countries / big regions that were NORTH of that. The biggest factor is end user desire which is hard to gauge.

Everything else I know was registered between $500-$4K and was nearly always backordered if they meet decent criteria. These high value sales are NOT captured on DNJournal which I think a lot of people don't realize.

Some decent / higher values on names at TDNAM/Dynadot but they were almost always renewed after the fact. It's not unusual for a name to get to $500 or so and then disappear back to registrant...
