I know what all sum you must pay in godady for domain registration is 9.99 usd , but i want to know for what sum they get 1 domain registration . It is not a 9.99 obviously.

Just interested , whose companies resellers are these type of big companies.

Godaddy and the like are accredited by ICANN, a (nominally) nonprofit organization that manages the gTLDS. Similar bodies exist for ccTLDs and the like.

The current at-cost price for a .com registration is around $6. However, it went up recently, if I remember correctly.

ICANN is the nonprofit organization that oversees the Domain Name System (amongst other things)

Registries are commercial companies that administer a specific TLD (extension) ... eg. VeriSign manages .com (and some others)

Registrars (like GoDaddy) are commercial companies that register domains for individual Registrants

regarding your price question ... Registrars buy .com domains from VeriSign for $6.86

the price was recently raised from $6.42 last year (press release) ... and from $6.00 the year before (press release)
