Hi we regularly get repeating questions on here about whether domain ownership is secure and if or how a domain can be used when there is a trademark - before or after the domain registration.
The answers are fairly standard, up to a point, beyond which you guess or get professional advice. So why not an FAQ or better yet flowchart? Would attract traffic, and ads for professional services.
We could list questions here and build it up. Some answers would be factual (preferably with links / quotes), others opinion.
Example: registration of my domain pre-dates the trademark. Can I approach the trademark holder to sell?
Example: registration of my domain is after the TM date. Can I use it for another class of goods?
Example: does winning at WIPO exclude action throught the courts?
