.EU domains will get a price reduction as of 1/1/07

I was reading an article via email about the .eu price reduction as of 1/1/07. Apparently this is to cover both registration and renewal. I believe its suppose to be a 5 - 10 euro price reduction. If you would like to read more go to the IBLS .

What was the point of announcing it in advance? Anyone who plans to reg a .eu is going to wait until January.

Well just remember its not 5 euros per domain. Its like 5 euros off. But I think from reading the article its for those who have open claims of back orders or other issues with previous orders of .eu's that were ordered. Read the article for more info.
