Escrow*com gets it.

The major players in Web 3 Metaverse secure their EMD dot-Com quickly, or settle on alt extension until they can afford the dot-Com or rebrand on a dot-Com.

Blockchain*com
Crypto*com
Bitcoin*com
NFTS.com

NFTs lost 97% of their peak value from 2021 over the first nine months of 2022. Dot-Coms have held steady even during the early stage of global 2022 recession and will only go up in value as the weaker extensions are washed away by Q3 2023.

The gateway to the Metaverse starts with dot-Com, don't be fooled by the hype.

In all fairness, this is a company that makes its money by handling escrow for big .COM sales. What did you think they would say ?

So in sum, "Web3 and the metaverse are going to suck, but you will still always need domains and us."

BIG confidence builder!

Honestly, I've never been so bullish on domain names. Companies built up massive followings on Facebook, Instagram, etc only to see the algorithms change and their reach disappear overnight. Relying solely on a social media company, or a metaverse company, or even YouTube or the Apple/Google app stores, is foolish for any brand... a top quality .com is simply a must. Why speculate on crypto, when quality domains have many of the same attributes but real utility.

Yep it's a no brainer that domain names, especially great dot coms are the real virtual reality of the world online and otherwise. Prices are just starting to slowly jump on many two word domains that are premium.
