The SVP of Communications mentioned in the ADL screenshot -- is that still @Intelliname? I've been surprised that there haven't been any comments from him on the Epik breach, given the job title, though I see he's actively watching this thread.

https://www.dailydot.com/debug/pro-trump-site-renamed-internal-conflict/

The Journal story said that thedonald.win was on the verge of getting kicked off of its server, Epik, due to failure to police racism, harassment, and calls for violence. Epik Senior Vice President Robert Davis reportedly said, “They need to recognize the critical role they play as an inspirational place rather than a hotbed of extremism. Epik has no tolerance for anything that incites hate or violence.” Davis warned that it could be dropped within days if it didn’t shape up.

The piece also noted that the FBI had contacted the site three times as it investigated the attempted insurrection at the Capitol. The page was reportedly a hub for planning some of the violence and chaos that occurred that day.

Is there a lively discussion about it on the other forum that you know of?

No. The (somewhat) active discussions are swamped with E fanboys. Moderation is a joke. They're not concerned at all, not even with their own forum being part of the leak.

Anyone who is/was a member there should consider the possibly their data got out due to the hack.

Is that the Dicker Forum Mark II that Monster acquired? If so did he get the full members DB and info on all the earlier lifetime members and their payment info?

Sounds like a Kool-Aid fest at a digital Jonestown.

I think so. And they've been in stealth mode until the leaks were released, so probably they've been able to be on the system during that time as well.

So they probably have a lot of input for new targeted social engineering probes. I personally think this will be used together with the data from icij. The relation Epik + elections was interesting, is interesting, and probably will be interesting again soon.

Yes. Haven't seen direct mention of it but going by some content being posted in other places I consider it to be very likely.

@Rob Monster is using his new forum, yes the one that used to be owned by AD, to attack me. Not any argument raised about the hack. But me individually. That is part of his modus operandi.

Imagine that. I have been a member of that forum since 2005. Paid for membership. Now the new owner is attacking a long time member. I will be canceling my account. That forum is only an echo chamber for RM.

I can't believe it's called "Cybermarks".

In fact it isn't. The Twitter account has an underscore at the end. The official Cybermarks account has the Anonymous logo and is followed by Epik's Cybermarks_ from South Africa (the elite guys).

Someone is enjoying this obviously, is it our popcorn/lemonade guy with the graphics?

I have been using Epik for many years and it is sad to see the recent turn of events. In my personal experience Epik has been one of the most innovative registrars with outstanding customer service. However the lapses in security and the association with extreme far right websites has me moving my domains away from them.

I still wish they recover from this because even though right now it’s hard to see anything from a positive light, they have done many good things for the domain industry.

Cybermarks.com is the name Rob Monster dropped in the Q&A so that does seem to be the "cybersecurity boutique" in question. Whether the Twitter account is legit or not, I'm not sure, but Rob Monster and Epik's Twitter account are among its 22 followers.

By the way, @Rob Monster, did you know you're missing a letter in your Epik Labs page title?

Cybermarks.com as recently as Sept 27 2021 was not even a live site according to archive.org, https://web.archive.org/web/*/cybermarks.com. Which means it was launched at least 2 weeks after the hack. So the site was not live during the q&a which was Sept 16. He said at that time it was being incubated, a very vague statement.

EDIT: Just to clarify, the site has one redirect in August and one in September (mentioned above) saved but that is all in 2021. But prior to that it was basically a for sale lander.

They probably wanted to go unnoticed. They work for the kingdom.

"So we hired a bunch of South Africans, like an elite team of cybersecurity people. They only were at it for a couple of months in terms of setting up their operation. They were working for a high-level firm. And they’re Kingdom guys, so they work for the Kingdom." (Epik CEO)

CNN called me today for help with a story on Monster. I never talk to MSM, but, for Monster, I made an exception.

Thanks. What will the story be about? Try to stay neat and professional. CNN viewers are decent people. RM used to serve as (in his own words) the industry ombudsman and advocate for domain investors, now it's your turn to shine. Good luck.
