Enom Service Outage

I did post this message in the "Running A Domain Registration Business" section of the forum but as that is private it was suggested it might be better posted in a public area so people will know:-


Do not think I have seen this posted anywhere as of yet on namepros but eNom have a scheduled service outage on Thursday (2nd august) from 7:00pm to 11:00p.m. PDT:-

the following services will be offline:

* eNom API
* eNom.com
* All PDQ sites
* All RegistryRocket sites

During those times, the following services WILL NOT be available:

* New registrations, renewals, transfers
* Change DNS or hosting settings
* Whois and domain updates

The following services WILL be available:

* DNS will resolve normally
* All web hosting services will connect normally
* Email will send and receive normally

What this means is if you have domains at eNom (or a reseller) You will not be able to manage your domains between the hours of 7:00pm to 11:00p.m (pdt) on Thursday August the 2nd (depending on how your reseller works you may be able to make the changes on their site but those changes will not take affect until the outage is over.
