Enom's "Extended RGP" is their warehousing cover-up. When someone doesn't renew a valuable domain, they keep it under "Extended RGP" and later on, they either change whois to Demand Media, auction it and rarely - drop it.

Enom 'grabbed' a name of mine years ago. Actually the domain was at Namecheap (Enom reseller). Looks like it wasn't renewed and Enom took possession.
They use that BS Extended RGP parlance to confuse you. Nothing to do with the actual Icann RGP.
A few years later I bought it back from a Spanish corporation. I assume they had bought it from Enom. Fortunately I didn't pay a lot more than what Enom was asking ($160+).
