Wow... sounds terrible :S. .club launched general availability 7th May, this was hand registered 29th May.. someone just won the domain lottery.

Agreed, same with whoever is in charge of their IT. From another thread:

Just thought I'd mention that neither of these have anything to do with the domain itself. The reason eat.club does not resolve is because they have not properly set up their DNS. There is no A record for eat.club. The reason you see that SSL error is because they are trying to use the certificate that is for their myeatclub.com domain.

In other words, their tech needs to get it together.

They should fire whoever bought that name for $20,000. eatclub.com is sitting there parked. I doubt it gets many/any offers at all. I would have used that $20,000 towards that one. Never heard that phrase in my life but looks like they're doing well.

We'll see how it gets used once they figure out how the This Connection is Untrusted issue. See if they just forward it to the .com or use it as the main url.
