Easiest way to back up database?

Hi all,
I'm running a custom script and want to know what the simplest way is to backup all tables, you know, so you re-input them in case the site crashes... Can anyone tell me how to do this in very simple terms, as I don't really understand PHP to well. I'm running PHPmyADMIN is there any way to do it with that? Non-php way is appreciated, if possible.

open the db with phpmyadmin and click export. Then select the classes you want to backup and then click what formatt you would like it to save as. Then click go and it will download it to a place you specify. Hope that helps.
