Popular AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini aren’t just “experimental gadgets” anymore—they’re becoming part of everyday workflows. It’s interesting to see how much time they can save, even with a smaller portfolio. What matters is using them as assistants, not replacements for experience.

I’ve noticed some seasoned domainers still hesitate to use AI, and sometimes even dismiss anything labeled “ChatGPT” if it challenges the old domaining approach. But like every new tool, it’s up to us to adapt and get value from it.

Anyway, this episode shared some solid practical steps. Looking forward to more!

This point of this video isn't to show you how to price your domains using AI, that is just what I wanted to test in it, it shows you how AI can help you manage your portfolio in bulk, quickly. You can easily do things like change all my pricing to be charm pricing at 88, or 99, etc, change all my floors to be x% of the BIN price. Show me what is not pointed to the Afternic Nameservers, help me change my min offer price to X, or X% of the bin, etc.
You can use the AI models to give you a clean CSV making your changes easily just by talking to the model and it saves a ton of time. I knew I wanted to change any names to $99 anyway so I figured what the heck, let's see what the AI model suggests for a quick sale, but that wasn't the point of the video. I wouldn't suggest using any automated system to price your domains, but I would certainly welcome any extra data points I could get and AI pulls in more data than I can so it is certainly helpful in that use case. But the point of the video is how to use AI to update your portfolio in bulk extremely quickly which is really helpful if you have hundreds of domains or more.

There is one already but the point of this video was to show you how to manage the portfolio easily in bulk. Changing prices was just the example I chose for this one. I wouldn't rely on an AI to price my domains. I'll explain more below.
You can find the ai appraisal inside your Afternic account by going to your portfolio and then clicking on a particular domain and then you will see the option to have AI weigh in on the pricing of the domain.
