domains dWeb Partners with Flare, to Build Sub-Level Domain Naming System

The dWeb Foundation has inked a deal with Flare Network, bringing them one leg closer to building a fully-decentralized and permissionless internet built on the blockchain infrastructure.

... Handshake will incorporate Flare Network’s powerful smart contract feature and framework to host a sub-level domain (SLD) naming system. Flare will be used to anchor the TLD, creating domains like .flare, then issue SLD, such as searchengine.flare, on the Flare blockchain. The State Connector connects the Handshake TLD with the SLD domains on Flare to be more specific.
