The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
XYZ is having a great year.
@DNGear is having a stellar year and leading the way.
Some others are making major sales in the extension.
Wholesale prices of XYZ are up substantially too.

But listing one nice name you have, @ZION, and saying you think XYZ has a great future and you will sell it for a lot, is not newsworthy. Your post does not warrant in News section. (in my opinion)

If listing one name an investor has, along with belief it will fetch a lot, were news, then there would be tens or hundreds of thousands of news posts on NamePros.

I hope the mods will move this to some other domain discussion thread.

Best wishes with the name, though.

Bob

Thank you , the problem is not my domain
The problem is some people here think they experts and think xyz worth $100+-
I don't know .....now I understand @DNGear that some "experts " try to shown xyz like a terrible extension

You have posted in the wrong thread. This is for Domain Industry News not Self Promo. Follow (Read) the NPs rules.

You made the same kind of post few months ago. It would not bring you any buyer from here especially the amount you are asking for it.

I am uploading the post because there is a lot of interest in the XYZ extension
It's there? They seem to sell for an average of 200 USD or less

200USD where you saw this information on namebio ?
Yeah, when you take away one seller that skews the averages and leave the ones where where we can verify the prices, then yes.

Friends, I'm not promoting my domain here
For me the news is that XYZ is flying a very high this year and will increase in my opinion hundreds of percent
And that's great news for me
I will do it !!
I'll make history !!
Anyone who is bothered can also not respond
Thanks

Alright, assuming this is true, then why are you posting your xyz domain on the title of the thread?

No. Reread your entire initial post that started this thread. Is that a news story? Does it announce something like a major sale? Is it an interview with someone who has a noteworthy achievement? Does it show an analysis to support a statement, or a new insight from an analysis? Does it introduce a new opportunity or way to do something?

There have been numerous XYZ news stories people have not objected to. See for example the interview of @DNGear posted just below in News by @equity78.

I did a detailed analysis of XYZ sales a few months ago, and uses, and that was in News.

Various of the big sales have been posted in News.

The problem is that your post does not contain any depth or news. Please read your post again.

Sure some people are XYZ detractors (fewer than a year ago). But that is not the problem here. It is that your post is not newsworthy.

Sorry, but that is how I see it.

Bob

Not sure why you got a dislike, you have a point. Also, NewYork xyz can be registered for $1,400 & renews for that sure, but it's not millions. For sure there are other major cities xyz selling for, well (not millions)...

I think you wrong
You should check again

Not far off. Always just a load of 100 USD sales with one bigger one to bring up the average.

No, nobody has done that, but we want to deal with reality not fantasy. We celebrate the wins of anyone on the forum that can sell domains well in any extension, but building a fantasy isn't in anyone's interest.
You called my domain fantasy ???
Are you serious??

Can you tell me what you mean when you wrote fantasy ?
Certainly. I don't wish to trigger you but I want people that invest in names to follow real sales so that people have the best chance of selling their domains.

I said an average of 200 USD and I wasn't far off, there are outliers, but I just don't want people to use excitement from people in something that doesn't sell as a reason to go all in on xyz or any other new extension. Investments should be fact driven to yield the best results.

@Bob Hawkes

I believe to the right person you could get six figures for this name, I mean look at DNgear - she’s able to do it

And hell if you get seven figures it will increase the value of my family’s names

wines.xyz

&

whiskey.xyz

Don’t undersell yourself and don’t post ads in the news sections

Best wishes

Mad,

no offense, but you were off by 150% and in the business world that’s a massive degree

$500 average for mediocre .xyz domains that were selling for pennies 5 years ago ... and a few people are commanding serious numbers for the GTLDs, DNgear being one of them

The playing field is changing dramatically, I am happy to be apart of a group of people who understand the importance of something as simple as a name / wether it is .com or a new .extension

May all our investments be fruitful

I wasn't, many months this year it was around 200 USD. But anyway that's by the bye... Let's not get too pedantic.

People command a lot but they're not getting it, sans the outliers. How many have you sold so far?
