Dot-ca price increase effective Oct 1, 2017: The dot-ca registry (CIRA) will increase the pricing by $1.00 for registrations, transfers and renewals effective Oct 1, 2017

there is only a lock down period for changing registrars, you can change the owner within a registrar, by pushing the name to another account

Yup, push within registrar.

If your buyer doesn't already have an account, you can always ask them to create one. Most, if not all, registrars have a free basic account option.

Seems that social media (Facebook/,Google+/etc) have been replacing forums..

On a personal positive..paying in "loonies" as opposed to the US dollar sure has increased spending power..

Hi Briguy, I hear all the big portfolio guys say every thing is in US dollars, and that big buyers expect to pay in USD.

I like being Canadian and my "low end market" are all small to medium sized Canadian business owners so I don't understand the USD thing, besides making more money from the sale, but I think in my niche/corner of the market it would deter people from buying a domain, the whole idea of owning a .ca is it allows you to brand yourself as Canadian.

If i had a few top dollar domains that corporate / or a big us company/person wanted to expand their business into Canada, then that would be easier to swing as that is their native currency.

Just my opinion, thoughts?

I have just used Myid/sibername etc to get the list, do they have it? or are you looking to down load it?
