I can see a number of these getting picked up - there a few others I'm surprised they accepted the high reserve and can't see selling because of it. What do you think?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It will be interesting to see what kind of page goes up on it. I would assume a regular domain for sale lander on it. If the new owner puts ads on there then they need to be taken out back and shot! :)

Can I ask a favor? Can you guys (and gals) try to load the following domains and see if they come up for you. These should load a Sedo lander page, but all I am getting are connection errors:

highbridge.ca

feels.ca

Thanks.

I am finding connection issues in Chrome for all sedo links.

I am using Chrome and Edge (which is now essentially Chrome) but even Firefox is not working, probably due to caching of the DNS record. Once I finish some work up I'll flush the cache and reboot to see of FF can load.

Even if FF works straight up, Chrome + Edge = a lot of users not seeing the Sedo pages.

…a lot of users not seeing the Sedo pages.
We are testing their MLS and will likely abandon their DNS to route from our own pages. Gong Show.

It has to be a browser issue, as I can get it to work intermittently on Firefox, but no way on Chrome or Edge, on 2 laptops and a desktop, but it works no problem on my phone using the same Internet source,

It's probably a new "Terms of Service" or "EU Privacy" update, similar to what I went through this week on PSN - I literally had to sign in on my phone, accept the new terms, then all my other systems worked no problem.

That's wild, as I can't get it to work on anything PC-related at all - it works no problem on a Chromebook, a Macbook, and my iPhone, but none of my X64-based PCs and laptops will load any Sedo pages hosted on their nameservers.

I even did an IP check and it was the same, as was the DNS record.

Sorry I wasn't more specific, but this seems to be a PC issue.

My iPhone works no problem, as do both a MacBook and Chromebook, but no PC access.

I just figured it out as I drilled down to the common denominator:

The most recent Avast update seems to have put Sedo Parking on their blocklist, and disabling the web shield opens up the port to the Sedo parking/landing pages.

If anyone from Sedo is reading this, you need to get ahold of Avast ASAP. It's detected "URL: Phishing" and blocking it and it's likely due to a rogue ad or other pop-up.

Same thing happened with Bell recently, as they blacklisted a pile of Sedo auto-generated email IPs and I stopped getting updates and offers, while all other Sedo email came in no problem.

They both work fine for me (from Victoria BC)

Both fine in Cambridge, ON. Do you like using Sedo over somewhere like Dan?

So what did everyone get in the TBR this week?

So what did everyone get in the TBR this week?

[sound of crickets] Well considering how almost everyone here puts their domains into privacy, then forwards it to some generic sales platform to maintain their anonymity, I'm guessing no one wants to openly discuss their acquisitions.

A lot of people don’t like to kiss and tell. I have had a few ex’s like that too. ;)

I knew that, but I thought I'd add some levity to the upcoming long weekend. Oh well, back to work.

But could they all scarf down a burger like that?

I would tell you at least one, but unfortunately I didn't get any domains off the TBR that are brag-worthy.

The closest I came was losing out on Lambert.ca, and now that I have some extra $$$ rolling in, in retrospect I should have gone for bust.

W00T just got a whopping $101 offer on my .ca name at Dan lol ... Its a first name just not the most common spelling. Hopefully they come back with a better offer.

So none of you guy have any trouble with Avast blocking the site?

I dont have Avast, sorry I replied to your first message.

I checked it with Chrome on an older Mac. It looked totally right to me for both. What is Avast?
