Haha I highly doubt. I checked the auctions/results the moment they came out (at 5) and they fixed it pretty quickly. They had to be on it already.

    Uh oh!!

Hey, as this post was from May 11, it looks June 3 was the last week for the $20 TBR pre-orders at Sibername? :xf.frown::xf.frown:

Too bad, as I made some serious $20 hay during the month, and it was a very nice gesture from a top TBR provider.

Well it’s not too often that the dot ca registry gets many names and I believe they got at least 2 good ones this time around.

Maybe we can convince @sibername to do at least 1 more month of $20 TBR’s! :)

I honestly think some snafu happened, similar to the MyID situation of yore, but the parties affected were simply not as "closely affiliated" with the CIRA to force a do-over. Someone probably set the clock/time zone wrong, forgot a field in the request, or otherwise screwed up, but again, only MyID seems to be able to get the CIRA to cancel an entire TBR and run it again.

It's clear that some big names were totally shut out of the top spots and when you see 10 Dollar Domains getting up a primo pick like LTR.ca, then something is definitely wrong.

I'm surprised to see 10 Dollar domains show up. I tried signing up with them a few times (a while back) and got 0 response or help from them (and could never officially open an account).

As for Sibername, I hope they decide to continue with the min $20 bid option. They got a lot more business from me because of it.

The worst thing about these "down weeks" is that high-rollers seem to have a set budget to waste on every TBR, so they'll likely be madly bidding thousands of dollars on something like TOILETBOWL.ca or HOCKEYPUCK.ca. :xf.cool:

You gotta know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em, and unless the quality increases drastically over the next 2 days, I may just take this week off and push my stash into the next list.

This TBR list is depressing - a few more LLLs hit but nothing special - and other than DELI.ca (which isn't that great to begin with) there doesn't seem to be an other premium in sight, just a morass of plurals and misspells.

And I've actually got some money to blow.

Thanks for the info on the $20 price... and as for DELI.ca... WTH?

I guess with such an incredibly weak TBR list, the money is flowing straight to the good stuff.
