Ah, I thought you meant from the Top Picks.

Keane is a real tricky one, as it looked good initially, but a large company shut down and there are few other options for that last-name.

Damn, was anybody bidding on second-tier domains?

A year from now I might be very happy, but right now it feels pretty whacked.

I see that FRP is taken in 124 TLDs and GoValue like FRP .ca quite a bit, about double NNT.
Is there a meaning I am missing on the acronym? So it could be Fibre Reinforced Plastic, I am told. P clearly has lots of meanings like protocol, party, planning, premium, promotion, etc. But I am probably missing the main attractive meaning.

It might be that FRP was both aged and had been used by a company (Family Resource Programs / FRP Canada, which rebranded as Families Canada) for a long time, thus creating potential value in 2020.

Or it could be that the valuation is screwed or using non-Canadian metrics.

Trudeau tried to give it to China, but they sent it back.

Not mine, but looks like FINDHOMES.ca sold privately for a little more than $1500 USD...
    https://namebio.com/findhomes.ca

It's forwarding to another real estate site so nice to see a realtor "getting it" when it comes to domains and specifically .CA's

    Congrats to the seller

Just a thought, while there is essentially no news that isn't COVID related and all the financial news is shitty.
Anyone want to do the home team a solid and send out a press release of a recent sale?

Just a word of advice on another bad-penny domain that keeps popping up every year or two on the TBR:

    FOXCONN.CA

Obviously, people believe they can sell this to the monstrous FOXCONN Taiwanese corporation, but then find out they can't and/or there is no interest, and then drop it back into the .CA ocean for someone else to pick up.

I think if Foxconn wanted to buy it, they would have a long time ago.

Sorry it's late, but with the kid's online exams and me being "Pandemic Tech Support" for family and friends, I barely made it this week.

To Be Released (TBR) Weekly .CA Picks for April 15-20

The .CA numbers did increase a bit this week, but we’re still not seeing a massive jump in the number of premium domains. We do have a serious 3-letter in there, along with a few nice single-words and another pile of aged multi-words (are investors dropping these?), but still not what you would expect in a list of over 9,200 domains. The weekly Top Picks includes headliners like...

As On-Time as a Trump Presser

I'm going to go way out on a limb and predict that AGC.CA will be picked first.

And from the incredible inactivity on here, I also predict that my tiny online CC will also be full by 3:05. :xf.eek:

Thanks again for posting the picks, especially now when kids are at home.

AGC.ca is a good pick, but I'll gamble a bit and say LGBTQ.ca has a nice shot at #1. No idea if that's the current acronym, but it's definitely a hot term that could be used in a million different ways

I thought about putting that in the Top Picks, but like you said, the acronym changed regularly and trend now is to put a 2+ in it. Every day they invent some new number/letter/symbol to represent another new group.

A bit late to make predictions but I will go with NIB.ca going first, to keep things interesting.

I also meant to bid on NDB.ca but I typed NBD.ca by mistake lol. Not sure why Sibernames even let me bid on a domain that isn't even in the TBR... but i guess it's more of a backorder than a bid. That said, other TBR registrars only let you bid on domains that are actually up for TBR within the next two weeks, if I'm not mistaken.
