I can see a number of these getting picked up - there a few others I'm surprised they accepted the high reserve and can't see selling because of it. What do you think?

No, it was on last week's TBR and caught first overall by MyID - I was just wondering what it eventually sold for at auction.

For some reason I recollect it was up to like 8 or 9K maybe? I dropped out a bit before that since I didn't want to develop it or deal with french language... and I personally find french domains don't sell well. But there were at least 3 people still bidding when it was like 5K. Once I dropped out I didn't really pay too much attention. I wouldn't be surprised if it falls into the myid black hole. But if a real person did get it, good for them, nice domain, could make a nice geo/portal if developed well.

If someone has a domain with Rebel, could they do me a favor?

I just sold a domain and needed a code from Rebel, but no email ever arrived. This happened several times before in 2019 and I have always had to contact chat support and get the code re-emailed. It's not on my email server under Spam/Trash/etc. and it's like it never existed.

If someone could just test-send an Authorization Code to their email to test, I would appreciate it (no risk, the code auto-expires and doesn't have to be used) and I am just wondering if Rebel's automated system is not sending out the emails, or if they are getting lost on my end.

I get all other Rebel promo, support and product emails, it's just the Transfer emails that never arrive.

Wow, it sure looks like someone invested heavily in the "live doll" market and I must have seen 100+ doll-related domains like EscorrtDoll.ca, RentDoll.ca, DollBordello.ca, DollBrothel.ca etc. Pretty weird stuff and they all dropped this week.

To Be Released (TBR) .CA Results & Leftovers for November 27

The TBR list itself jumped back above the 8K mark this week, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the 1-word and 3-letter options that were available. The real gain came in the multi-word category, as a lot of premium & aged (early 2000’s) 2-word domains were released to the unwashed hordes. This gave the TBR results a nice bump, but there was also a lot of activity in other areas, resulting in an impressive 115 domain selected, including notable Top 10 picks like...

Hard to find, as everything in their FAQ is about transferring IN and transferring between WHC clients, etc. It doesn't seem to have anything covering transfer fees, and it might actually be illegal under CIRA regulations.

TRANSFER YOUR DOMAIN FROM WEB HOSTING CANADA TO ANOTHER REGISTRAR (OUTGOING TRANSFER)

If your domain name is currently registered with us and you wish to transfer it to another regisrtar, you can request your EPP key from the Client Area, under Domains > My Domains > (if multiple domains present, select the one to modify an click Manage Domain) > Request Transfer Key.

Depending on the type of domain, the transfer key will either be displayed on your screen or emailed to the Administrative Contact's email address within a few minutes of your request. This email address is listed in the Domain Contact Information section.

Please also remember to deactivate the Registrar lock on your domain before initiating a transfer.

I don't know, but I just "bought" 5 for $5.25. I can't do anything with them yet though, they are in 'pending' status in my account and still available to register at other registrars. Payment went through though.
