People see the lower-case and think it's internet.ca and not lnternet.ca, and either buy it privately or put a big TBR bid in. There was a thread on here last year about a guy who bought it from a domain sales site like Sedo or Afternic, and was proudly stating that he bought the Canadian Internet.

The only time these l-as-i misspells are worth anything is on King, like the more-recent hype surrounding lnvestor.com.

That's why I never copy and paste from a TBR list when I bid. Always type it in by hand

    .CA Canada Day Sales?

Just got my first promo email from Webnames, but I'm hoping there are a few more - anyone hear anything?

I'm a little surprised no one else picked up on ikon.ca.

Oh for pete sake's, thanks for clearing up- forgot about that olde, sinful trickery.

I think copy/paste + type-in, to eliminate any doubt with letters. With non .ca's, also can eliminate IDN trickery.

NameCheap has .ca's at a 43% discount until July 2. Don't know what the final price is.

I hope for the day when another registrar foolishly runs an unlimited $2.99 transfer-in promo on .CA. I'm guessing someone in marketing had a very short career at WHC...

Damn, this dropped so low on the list, I've been replying to an old thread of mine instead.

    Bonus sleepers: SunRidge.ca and Vickers.ca

One of my drops made the "TBR Results – July 3, 2019" list... since I made a decision (lack of traffic), sure not going to second guess myself..business is busine$$.

Please tell us what it was:) just in case I got it

One lesson I learned from this drop is drink coffee to wake up and double check the selling before ordering:)
