I second that motion.
Any idea on AMS.ca or some of the others like Chorus.ca, Precious.ca, Gambler.ca, etc.?
I got this email today but it seems a bit late as the contest ended 6 days ago.
We have a bunch of idiots running our not-for-profit extension? Pretty sad state of affairs
Shouldn't the members of the not-for-profit organization see the books?

The CIRA is on a real roll of late and I'm really wondering if anyone is even alive over there - maybe the entire operation is being run by a low-end AI program found in a WWII bunker?
If so, that would answer a lot of questions.
I read all the mess tbr is in here. Never participate in the drop, but they having some issues
Definitely headed the wrong direction. They should answer to us, were feeding them.
Still in domain manager at rebel, we can see when the stupidity really kicked into high gear.
Maybe they are all stoned over there?
I deal with a Canadian company that made the mistake of using only the .com for a product. I launched a competing product under the .ca and have been poaching his sales for a number of years.
Good news is I just bought the company.... looks like my .ca was outperforming his .com by about a 3-1 ratio.
When in Canada.... do like a Canadian and use the .ca
I totally agree, as not only do you get the automatic .CA type-ins, you also get a nice bump on Google when Canadians search on the term.
I ran into a great example this Christmas when I was shopping for gifts - some wanted autographed pics from Frozen Pond (a Canadian company), so I automatically typed in frozenpond.ca but it didn't resolve. So I looked it up and it turns out they use the .COM... and the .CA is available for registration.
Why in the world they don't spend the $12 to register the .CA and at least forward it is totally beyond me. Personally, I would set up two separate front pages for the .CA and .COM so I get the search benefits of both.
Wow, ~9K .CA domains as of today - I say we hit over 10K again this week.
Just missed the 10K mark, as Monday was a light day and we only got to 9,368 domains.
That is still a lot!
Definitely, but I predicted 10K and it's disappointing to just miss it.
It's over 11k now
Yeah, but that includes next week's TBR list.
Monday is the change-over day, with the last domains of this week & and the first of next week, appearing.
what are some databases for researching .ca creation and history? whois, godaddy and others only give you availibility or nothing at all.seem to be setup for com,net and org.if a .ca isn't regd it is hard to find out much.
Just a note that Baremetal has opened up their auctions (ends Apr-24), in case anyone needs a proxy, and their 3 top picks in the last TBR were:
