let say domainexample.com is already registered and there is website developed also on it(consider it trademarked ) .
Then is it ok to purchase exampledomain.com or there would be some issue.

and what if website is not trademarked.

That is actually geo domain
for eg- Newyorkhotel.com and hotelNewyork.com
