After reviewing the DomainersEdge site for a while, I decided to opt in to their "no-risk" 30 day trial. I paid the $100 membership and off I went. Although Im sure some domainers found the site useful, It really wasnt the direction I was going.

After going through the site I was unable to find an area where I can cancel my membership. So, I emailed. No response for 3 emails, sent to every email address I could find. I filed a chargeback claim with American Express after more than a week of no contact. Here is the time frame below.
------------------------
Time Frame:

Signed up - 12/6/2006

Sent Cancellation Email - 12/21/2006

Sent 2nd Email - 12/22/2006

Sent 3rd Email - 12/28/2006

Charge Back Filed - 12/29/2006
------------------------

Summary: My experience with DomainersEdge has been poor. There customer service is non-existant. They provide no way to cancel your membership or recieve a refund for the "trial" period. Although the service may be worthwhile to some, it is not for me and after the customer support Ive recieved. Being forced to do a Chargeback, I cannot in good conscious recommend this service to anyone.

Well, kind of the same here. I do find the site useful, but it is on the expensive end, so I only like to use it when I have had a good month....

I sent an email to cancel about 1 week in advance (since I could not find any where to do it on the site) this past week. So my subscription should of ended today. So I checked the good old bank account and wow, sure enough DomainersEdge.com charged me $99 again!!! D-:

I used all resources this morning to get a refund, email, IM, Phone call (left message) and sent a PM via the forum on domainers edge. As of time of post, no response to any.

I will update as soon as I hear back and or get my refund.

P.S.

These are the things that make the internet suck........ You have to sign up with a CC and when you do not want to use the service anymore, they give you no option to cancel. So now I have to cancel my credit card and so on if I do not hear back. GRRRRRRRRRRRrrr >:(
