Hi all,

I am transferring my .com domain in Godaddy.com to Porkbun.com.
Two days have passed, but the transfer is still in progress and the domain is in pendingTransfer status.
I accepted this transfer before sending it, so I thought the transfer would be over soon.
Does Godaddy take 5-7 days to transfer like other registrars?

Thanks.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Occasionally Godaddy will disallow fast transfer of certain domain names per their (Godaddy's) discretion.

In those cases I would expect 5 days.

If you accepted the transfer email and in your account allowed the transfer it should have happened (transferred) within 15 minutes. If you didn’t reply to the emails it still should be done. Contact them.

Thanks everyone for the advice on my question.
My godaddy transfers definitely seem strange. I will ask them more about this at the start of their work next Monday.

High-End Names (at Godaddy discretion) will not be allowed for fast transfer.
I sold 20 LLL.net names and I have to contact the Sale Rep for fast transfer.
Normal fast transfer will not work.
