We are excited to announce some major developments here at Aftermarket.com. We have acquired Domain.io, the advanced portfolio management system that will serve as the foundation for our new platform. This strategic move marks the beginning of our journey to become a leading force in the domain industry. Our mission is clear: to be the premier platform for buying and selling domains. We're committed to offering fair commissions and continuously adding value through innovative technology. We will be launching our full platform and domain marketplace this fall, with our registrar syndication network following shortly after.

Marketplace & Platform Features

As we prepare for the full platform launch, here's a preview of what's in store:

  • Premier Marketplace: A user-friendly domain marketplace featuring direct payment options and seamless domain transaction handling.
  • Flexible Commission: An industry first for a marketplace, allowing you to split, pay, or pass commission fees to the buyer. Our un-brokered commission rate is just 10%, offering a competitive alternative to rising commission fees.
  • Direct Lead Handling: Respond to offers directly or automatically assign them to a broker with complete transparency.
  • Portfolio Management: All of the advanced tools from Domain.io, including bulk DNS management, cross-marketplace verification, DNS/SSL/Whois monitoring, expiration tracking, and more.
  • Customizable Landers: High performance SSL landing pages with flexible checkout options.
  • No Subscription Fees: Aftermarket.com will be free to use, offering industry-leading features without recurring costs.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It looks like the SSL system was stuck the last week or so, I just restarted it. The current system is falling behind with all the new domains, but I have a completely revamped system for landers at Aftermarket.com that will only take a few minutes (tops) to issue certs. If you still have any domains with SSL issues please DM or email me the names.

There is a 5 minute cache on the domain landers. If you use the View Site button from within your account, it adds the ?nocache string to the domain which bypasses the cache:

Thanks. It seems to be working flawlessly again.

Will you current Landers and way to customise them change a lot? I was looking into modifying them to get a better look, suit my needs but it would be time wastedbif aftermarket.com will use other/new/better :) templates.

It's affecting domain.io nameservers, too:

Migrations are difficult, but Aaron (@aoxborrow) is a wizard and will get it resolved quickly, without a doubt.

Excited to see what Aftermarket.com becomes! 🤩
hey, thanks for this. I must give credit, pointing out that the www. was still failing on the same domain helped me isolate the issue we're having. when we migrated the existing 100k SSL certs, they were "multiname" certs for both domain.com and www.domain.com. the new system was not recognizing them for www, and it was issuing new certs for all www. domains, which has bogged down the system and we started running into rate limits as it tried to issue the www. for all existing domains, and keeping up with new domains.

in our defense everything worked fine in testing! nothing like live traffic to expose the problems. things are much better now but will be fully fixed in 2-3 hours

Thanks for fixing these migration issues. What's the best time to give your platform a try?

Just added a few new names to aftermarket and noticed they’re also listed in my domain.io account which is awesome as I was wondering what would happen as things got out of synch 👍

Provisioning in their auth DNS takes a really long time.

Also, I still haven't received any welcome (or other) email since account creation and setting up some domains in my account. Just no emails.

I'll revisit this later when provisioning is a lot more efficient. The dashboard looks impressive, though.

Domains still not resolving.... Lossing million dollar sales here ;) seriously though, curious what the landers will be like.

They better get it together so I can move all from dan before the are killed by GoDaddy in a week or so.

We support you!

Undermining the promotion of another aftermarket platform with a mod account that includes the lander promotion signature of the organization it represents cannot be considered as supporting it.

the promotion of another aftermarket platform
This is just a news thread, not a promotional or support thread.

We contribute in news threads when we have something to share: that may be something informative, interesting, or helpful to fix an issue.

You'll notice that we won't post anything outside of moderator duties in an official Aftermarket.com thread. 👍

adding new names to nameservers is fixed. landing servers are finally stable. we were getting pounded with bots crawling the marketplace domains. sorry for the outages!

Does this include implying that you don't receive commission from sales made from your own landers?

Whether you admit it or not, what you are doing is simply called sabotaging.

In addition, it's really a matter of curiosity why you only appear in news about aftermarket platforms with a mod account when you don't comment on any other news headlines at all.

Great, working just fine! Will you be changing much to the landers? I heavily customized them and was thinking to redesign but that would be time wasted if aftermarket isn't going to support custom code and styling based on the current templates.

we're going to keep the current lander design as an option, since the new one will be more branded

Cool, thanks. More branded is ok I think. Looking forward to see this evolve.

We did not intend to imply that we do or do not in that post.

To be clear, we do not receive any commission from sales made through our landers, not even from Escrow.com because we've opted out of it.

That's not true at all. Here are some recent replies in threads that are unrelated to aftermarket platforms:

  20. And hundreds of others.
Those last two are definitely worth a read. 😉

Plus, here are examples of us recommending everyone check out domain.io only a couple months ago:
