When using WhoIs at DomainTools.com does the date at ASN reflect the date the domain was first registered?

Hmm, interesting. Every one I have seen has the ASN date older (which is why I'd assumed it was the first reg'd date), but clearly not. Thanks for sorting that out for me anyway @IMEZI. I do always use the registered date in terms of current age, but was interested to know if there was a way to find the first reg'd date. And now I wonder what the ASN date is then too?! More questions than answers...

i found that ASN is Autonomous System Number https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonomous_system_(Internet) but i still cant figure it out what exactly is that
