Hi,Sorry for reporting this sale. We agreed on $799 and payment sent by buyer via Dan but after few hours buyer requested to cancel this sale. Dan issue refund to buyer, and sale was cancelled. Now buyer sending me lower offers from the agreed amount $799 offers via different 3 Dan accounts and showing me he is new buyer, but ip address at dan offer page showing same, he is trying to smart with me but i am 100% sure, he is very much interested in this domain MostBat.com let me know please, how to deal with this type of buyer? If i increase price to $14995 and renew this domain for up to 10 years , i am 100% sure, he will purchase, Any suggestion please? If i increase price, sale will happen?

Who cares if he declines? He cancelled on a very low deal. Whats to say he doesn’t do it again? I would have a bin and not entertain any more offers by him. Flakey buyer.Hi,
Obviously, your potential buyer doesn't want to pay $799
He wants to get a domain name at a lower price
If you reply with a higher price, he may decline
I think you can try it back for $700
This is just my suggestion,
Yes I agree. He should double the price and ignore the buyer.@mkhouzz - the below should of been posted here......maybe? Even though it's technically not a sale?
For me the domain is not worth $14,995 - let alone xx,xxx or mid x,xxx - could just be me though......Or if you know who the end user is and their spending capacity......
Set a realistic BIN, remove the make offer and leave it be
ATM you seem to have a $890 BIN in place, plus lease to own & make offer
If someone was doing this to me I would double the price (for lower priced domains) and forget about it - so in this case $1,500 - $1,600 with a 3 or 4 month lease to own option
Just my take on it.....
Set BIN(obviously a higher BIN) and remove offers.Sorry for reporting this sale. We agreed on $799 and payment sent by buyer via Dan but after few hours buyer requested to cancel this sale. Increase the price and not reduce it. Maybe leave it at $1200-$1300Sorry for reporting this sale. If you have questions about reported sales, this is the right thread to post your questions. Posting on the main sales report thread is seen as derailing which will get you negative impacts. Is this really a month's sale of domains? You are netting about 15k a month. I didn't thought domain flipping would be this lucrative. I wish to know how many of them you have and when you started, if you don't mind.
@twiki I’m sure it’s been asked before but I can’t find a post saying so.
What NS are you using for your landers? Afternic I assume ns 3/4 ?
Oops, I will share under the usual completed sales. All sales sold at BIN (wholesale prices under 500), hold time less than one year, hand reg, Sedo lander.

I’m testing some of my domains using N3/4. 3/4 is where potential buyers need to fill a form and GD will verify the lead then neg with them. They suggest use N3/4 when domains are priced over 2K. Or no need to set a BIN, just set a floor price and GD broker will neg the deal on your behalf.I found my answer with search feature haha
majority is on ns 5/6 since ty
cheers

HI - I don't understand what you mean by "length extension of your wallet"@twiki I view in your report sales that you said: "I'm selling one of these each 3 days or so, sometimes more per day."
This is awesome sales per month!
Could you tell me
How big is your portfolio?
And what is the length extension of your wallet?
I understand that your portfolio will be quite large if you sell so many domains per month.
Thanks for quick reply.HI - I don't understand what you mean by "length extension of your wallet"
Anyway I have 7400 names, 99% of them are .COMs. But a good bunch of these will not be renewed, aiming to reach 4000 names max or under by the end of this year. Looking to reduce portfolio workload and get better names so I'll be replacing many of the existing ones.
I only sell 4-figs and rarely a $788 discounted before expiry.
TBH, this week I only sold 2 names and it was pretty disappointing (one each 3.5 days). While previous week I sold 5, that's what I'd call a normal sales week.
In the future I will probably sell less names but for more $$$ each.
The reduced sales is not usually the reason, it's rather for workload, growing portfolio quality and controlling investment/exposure. In my case, my sales have actually increased; and I know they will grow further. My quality increase seems to be faster than the market slowing. Thanks for quick reply.
I like your numbers !
About my second question I asked you. Sorry for my bad English. I wanted to know what was the main extension you had but you already told me .COM. thank you.
With a portfolio of 7K it seems to me a great achievement to sell 15-20 domains per month. Congrats.
Regarding your suggestion to reduce the portfolio to 4K, I hope it goes well.
On what you say about reducing the portfolio I hope it goes well but on Twitter I have heard from other domainers who also have large portfolios that when trying to reduce portfolio in large quantities and have seen reduced sales and profitability.
I hope you are doing well.
Good point. From this point of view, I understand that it could be feasible. The reduced sales is not usually the reason, it's rather for workload, growing portfolio quality and controlling investment/exposure. In my case, my sales have actually increased; and I know they will grow further. My quality increase seems to be faster than the market slowing.
I used to own 25 k names at some point and it was hell.
Most domainers trim their portfolio periodically, just like I do. You get more experience, you get better, you replace old domains with new better ones. Also looking to be at a manageable size. 4-5K names max is a manageable number; more than this, not so much.
