I can't speak on the other stuff, but presentation matters..especially when the buyer isn't settled on one specific name and have options. Trust plays a role. You may want a TV, but you may skip the guy selling a TV in the back alley and go to Best Buy instead or somewhere else you trust. Now if the buyer is set on getting a specific name then that's a different story. Or if the name is meet.com or something exceptional then maybe it doesn't matter as much then.(like how the booth brothers have a simple page for years) I mean people have made sales in prison because someone wanted a certain name. But the reality is many sales...the buyers have options. In this case Godaddy branding is there... but i had to check the url to be certain, because the page looks like a back alley(Atleast in desktop..The look has nothing to do with the sale.
If a buyer wants to buy a name, they will buy the name. They are not walking away because the landing look.
I don't understand why people make things too complicate to buy/sell a name: EMD, Search Results, number of Extensions, Appraisal value, PPC, etc...????
They just switched it back today..maybe they heard the poor feedback...I like this clean one much better
