That’s what I was thinking! Totally clueless here but if I’m him I would throw 1 m on it.

    50/50! What are the odds...

Good catch! Interesting he bought it without a plan.

As far as price, we know he paid more than the $300,000 minimum offer. The article stated:

"Mr. Cooley said that Mr. Cuban’s offer exceeded the auction’s minimum bid."

I noticed that. Does anyone have his email? I would love to “cold email” a few domains. I have more plans than money! 😅 I’m also rolling back prices like a distinguished retailer I won’t “infringe” upon.

Didn't he start out on broadcast.com, to this day he knows yahoo totally overpaid him for that deal, what a bust for yahoo, but it allowed him to become what he has. I believe it was $5.7 something billion, and yahoo eventually shut it all down. Cuban is said to be worth about $3B, so what does $100k really matter this way, or that.

Interesting thought. Maybe the person has another domain with possible Tm infringement problems that Cuban agreed to pay attorneys fee?

Been undisclosed might simply mean far more than the asking price or too large a sum to reveal to the public

At this point from the newswire he has received more than $500k worth of free pr, I think he had political aspirations at one point, so great domain to get some buzz if he ever decides to campaign.

It’s a great time to sell political domains, don’t hold onto to them, this is the election to do it, the spend is going to go thru the roof.

Mark was thinking of throwing his hat running... Good luck beating, billionaire, Mike Bloomberg

And even if you beat Bloomberg, still have to beat Trump. I expect Cuban to run 2024 prez.
