I've been getting flooded with emails (most form hotmail, yahoo.com etc) from folks who filled out the form I put up at 20.com. I can't make heads or tails of it all, and after speaking with a number of brokers out there it seems that there is a good case for paying one of them a $250k commission to run a process for me.

so, I'm going to select a broker in the next week and give them a couple of month to sell it.

i set the commission structure at 5% of the total sale or 10% of any amount over $3.4m (which was my last offer). that should next the person a nice chunk of change to manage all of this....

so.... who would you pick?

I told you what I would do ,but if you have to pick one guy besides selling it yourself it would have to be
Rick Schwartz if this guy could get almost 9 million for porno.com he can get that for 20.com ,hell'''' he will probably give a lot you more than 3.4 million himself BUT YOU MUST APPROACH THE KING YOURSELF,and I mean this.

Rick said "he don't sell other people domain name."

I'll add the relevant part of my post from your other thread:

Definitely use one of the Chinese brokers like GUTA.com because they have the best relationships with large Chinese buyers, and in China, relationships play a significant role in whether a deal is reached.

@Ran Cui is another good choice. Honorable mention for @Giuseppe Graziano, as well.

I dont sell anybody domains for anyone either but rick likes partnerships and challengers, and likes to keep his domains. So if the owner of 20.com structured a deal that would make the commission on the transaction rise exponentially as the amount grew, where he can make a couple million for himself or his favorite charity.I dont think The master will deny. Life is one big negotiation should I make a left or right. should I do this or that. Its in his and our human nature. If we see some rich oil sheikh lost on the desert offering a 8 million dollars for a jug of water, and we know Gunga din is right behind the mirage were gonna get a deal done.

Tessa Holcomb at igloo.com handles a lot of high end deals like this. I would put her on the list of brokers to interview.

Hi @jason calacanis

Hope you find the best Broker. I did see 20.com in a Chinese website where they were discussing about it. Which means they are already looking to buy this. So sharing here incase it might help.

Looks like Chinese are collecting NN.com starting from 00.com till 99.com. Of course many of them are already bought by them.

Copied from that website:

If planing to inflation and the yuan and the dollar to these factors, then this year to pass over 500 million dollars (about RMB 3238 million) transaction 77.com is no doubt is by far the highest price 2 digital domain. The goal of 500million US dollars, next year 1 month shooting of 20.com whether another miracle, let us wait and see.

This shows you have good scope to sell this name way over $5 million.

Good luck, looking forward to see this selling soon.

Cheers
Venu
