I think it's high time that more members knew about this.

We get new members every month expressing their astonishment that this award even exists :blink:

What it really needs is a staff member whose only task is to promote and run MOTM. They should be the person making threads like this, and not just down here at the bottom of the board either, as well as generally raising awareness.

It would be great to see a hundred or a thousand people voting for their MOTM. The staff member could then also be responsible for counting the hundreds or thousands of votes and save RJ a job!

I think MOTM should be an integral part of NP life as it's a great way for people to say thank you when a simple "thank you" won't suffice and it also gives new members something to aim for (in terms of helping people and being a good member).

My 2 cents anyway

I've always been in support of that idea -- nobody really sees MOTM voting between down here in the suggestions forum and up in the "Quick Links" menu.
