Kevin Richardson, a controversial animal behaviourist, has spent so much time with a pride of lions in South Africa that he can treat them like family pets.

That is bad ass, I wish I could do that.

Not really, as my understanding of this dude (known as the "Lion Whisperer") ... I'll watch the video after typing this ... is that they are not lions from the actual wild, and that he's nursed them since babies in a controlled environment - fed them, slept with them in their pack, etc.
In other words, he's made for TV! :music:
There's always a risk, of course ... instinct taking over when eating or protection with little ones, but there are many who do far riskier things with actaul live, blood-thirsty WILD animals! :o :imho:

damn thats awesome! but there are plenty of other people who have pet lions and "interact" with lions
