Day 4 of dumped Rubbish @ AR Hurst Reserve - responsibility of the Sutherland Shire Council.

If the fence had of been replaced NO rubbish could enter the Georges River, unfortunately, due to the overnight weather, pieces of plastic are now floating in the River.

Any suggestions of how to motivate Sutherland Shire Council to CARE about the Fauna, Flora and waterways?

Day 5 @ A R Hurst Reserve - Sutherland Shire Council- update, the Rubbish has been removed from the asphalt path, however, in the waterway/mangroves
STILL remains;

bricks, PVC pipes, glass, plastic, foam and wood etc.

Currently it is Low Tide & come High Tide the Rubbish will be carried out to Georges River with the tide

The fence separating AR Hurst Reserve and the waterways has NOT been replaced!

Sutherland Shire Council Corey, we are following up on the issues you have raised and work orders are in place for the rubbish in the mangrove area to be removed and the fence to be fixed or replaced.
