Is there any report covering how big is domain buy & sell market in terms of:
- deals made every year;
- number/value of .com domains registered for the purpose of selling it (keywords, long time parking page, listed at sedo, etc) and domain sqwuatting

How is the current eco-system for domainers in 2015/2016? I don't hear much of those crazy XX,XXX-XXX,XXX deals in recent year.

You should checkout dnjournal. You will find a great deal of sales history information there. You can run comparisons over the years to see the growth firsthand.

Most sales are private and unreported. Even Rick sold a domain name for an undisclosed price. Also it is barely March. In a few months DnJournal will be filled with them. Patience goes a long way in this business.

Most of the larger sales are private, and many with an NDA ,so you will never know.
