Currency: If an auction is listed in another currency, does it stop you from bidding?

Example:

There is a LLL.com right now at Sedo listed in EUROs.

I prefer Euros because I have a bank account in Euros too but somewhat I had the impression that some buyers avoid to bid if they are not familiar with the other currency despite SEDO provides a currency convertor right there.

What do you think and how do you behave in those cases?

Thanks

I don't like bidding in Euro's to be honest. More than once I've accidentally entered what I would have paid in USD and judging by some of the excessively inflated EURO sales I've seen on Sedo, I'd guess I'm not the only one who occasionally does this.

 as a seller I was hoping right that

But then....did you pay despite your mistakes?

I did, but tbh I wonder how many sales fall through because of it.

With USD being the default currency for domain transactions, I really don't see the purpose of listing in Euros unless you're hoping someone screws up on the currency conversion.

I am glad that "paypal" has the "other currency" options..that way I can know
instantly what it is costing me in my currency

Sellers living in UK may prefer Pounds to avoid currecny conversion fees once paid? Same for other currencies.

I don't think the currency is a problem when you want to a buy a name
Euro - USD - GBP it's all the same, you may loose few from currency conversion but this can be taken back if the name is valuable
Of course with $50-$100 names you may calculate even the cents but that's the spirit of the "game"

My LLL.com is scheduled for premium auction in Sedo with Euros as the primary currency

When you deal with Sedo's team for a premium auction is slightly better to list a Euro number. I submit it twice. They suggested a lower number with USD as a starting bid
I can only assume that this is a coincidence because i'm sure they have a currency calculator but that's my experience so far especially for this premium auction

I usually only bid on names that are listed in UDS unless it is a really good deal in the other currency, then I will convert and figure any fees and see if it is still a good deal, if so. I'll bid.
