CSS Positioning!

Hello, i have done a new design for my website and since i was chuffed putting it up and see it all rendered properly and the content stretched the table correct etc i then clicked on a comment. then the scrollbar disappeared and it seemed to squash the content table up a few % and i know this may sound picky but it annoys the hell out of me.

then click on a comment and press backward and forward and you will see what i mean.

i want it like www.dovka.org where it stays still wheras my design re-sizes...any suggestions what to do?

Your coding is good; it's Firefox that messes it up.

Firefox gets rid of the scrollbar if there isn't enough content to stretch the height. The only solution I can think of is to put a few things in the footer to force the height enough that the scrollbar is always required.

thanks, i am trying to think of how www.dovka.org done it. perhaps they had a set width on the navigation? where as my coding is all in %'s but i'd prefer them all that way!

the reason there is no scroll bar is because all the content fits on the screen, the only way to put the scroll bar there is to make the content to big.. try adding this to your css.

The page is not found. Also, to say FireFox screwed it up is a screw up in and of itself. IE is the one that screws it up. IE always has a bug to make everything look pretty close to what you want, in reality it is the coding that is off. If I could see this site I could help you out.
