Cosmotown registrar - difficult to unlock domains

Hello ,

I had registered some .com domains at Cosmotown
I wanted to unlock these
But the support is not responding to my request.
Only response is confirmation that they have received the request and working on it.

When I try to unlock myself, it says only non-expired domains can be unlocked by me.

Seems like Cosmotown is making it difficult to unlock expired domains.

So, please be careful.

You are correct. Their support is extremely slow, and their refusal to let us unlock the expired domains is against ICANN TOS. You shouldn't have to message them to unlock, especially since it often takes them a week+ to reply. Ironically, a year ago I suggested they raise the prices if it meant they'd get their shit together and be able to provide a proper service. And so they did. They raised their prices, but the service is still as bad as ever. Technically speaking, they got it 50% right

I like Cosmotown, but as any other registrar they have positive and negative sides.
Most thing I like with them is that I can register a domain without much delay, no need to wait for my order, like with Dynadot, Dreamhost, UnstoppableDomains and other same fashioned delivery!
