estimates the number of unique visitors to any given website per month, though it's based on a "compete community" of around 2 million users, so it cannot be totally accurate.

Nice one. Inspires me to take on my previous projects once again.

I built a search engine http://www.search-eh.ca

But then couldn't carry on again to put in my own algos to decide which sites will be first and which sites will follow them. Something like my own pagerank formula.
