Ignore that text, just enter your nameservers in respective Ns1 and Ns2 field and click save.

I wouldn't recommend UK2 to anyone serious about their business. They just wasted my time. I tried to test their service by registering just one domain name. No email. Nothing. Over 24 hours later after chatting with their customer service, I was told that my order has been canceled and my funds will be refunded. No reason for the cancellation whatsoever. Bad service.

I just received refund for a domain that was successfully registered and can't login to my account, it's suspended. They say they will release the domain in 3 days so I can register it again in other registrars.

    Waste of time.

Same thing here, account suspended, and support practically says FU:

This being their last email, after i asked for a method to have my account unsuspended:

    Hello,

I do not have any additional details. I'm sorry if you feel this is unacceptable but there is nothing further I am able to do.

    Kind Regards.

What i think happened here is that they got thousands or tens of thousands of regs when they expected a few hundred tops, now, they are closing accounts and refunding orders so they can cancel the domains and get their $$ back aswell, atleast, this to me is what it looks like.

Lets make sure the registrar is reported for the actions taken here, several account closures without explenation and or a method for us to regain account access and keep our domains.

I presume they underestimated the amount of applications / registrations they would get. I took 4, but without the .online free gift (I deleted that free .online, during the process). If suddenly somebody registers 5.000 or 25.000 or 100.000 domains of promotion, they could loose big time (or have to have a lot of cash to prefund) or couldn't handle it. The promotion is finished as I see, although initially I saw the promotion ran till 5th of december, and we are the 4th. (Didn't make printscreen of that promotiondate on their site to proof it).
Nothing wrong so far for my 4 domains and account.
ANYHOW : They seem to have a beautiful free website / Startersite along (if you marked that when you registerred). Didn't test it out but it looked good while registerring the domains.

SOMETHING ELSE INTERESTING at domcomp I see at Dreamhost that registerring, renewing, AND transfers TO Dreamhost of .online-domains are ALL at 1.99
    [email protected]@@@@@@@@W !
So register 1, and renew immediately (if that's possible), and you have a as cost for the domain together 3.98 $ for 2 years, and 5.97 $ if you renew then for two years after registerring 1.

I think it only means that IF you took a hostingplan along, that it's immediately for 1 year.
I started the discussion about this item 14, because the word "plan" puzzled me.
But I'm pretty convinced that you can transfer out the domain out after 60 days if you didn't attach hosting to it....or they could get into serious trouble. (but you won't get money back for the 1 year hosting you payed if you took hostingplan along).

Several people here say different things I see in the reactions above. I presume that at the company there are many people on the telephone and 1 there knows the truth better then the other.
I think they are in a panicsituation right now and handled as such : I mean the reaction to people with lots of names and got refunding and cancellation of account and registrations. I'm not one of them for the moment. I even got today a thank you mail I became a member and registerred domains.
As they refund they at least are that honest. But they should have sent mails when they did.
The question remains where the cancelled domains got to : reregisterrable ???

I hope people made printscreens when registerring so much domains, or making an account, etc... if people really want to go to icann with this.

I was intending to register more domains today, as the promotion said till 5th of december. Guess that's not gonna happen now. In any case @jmaurya the post of jmaurya proofs it's finished.
Did anybody make printscreen of beginning, when it said till 5 december ?

But there are more registrars who sometimes have only a particular amount of promotion-domains from the registry, end their promotion earlier. I even saw that happening Even with different big registrars. Because of timezones, there always can be discussions : That's why for instance Dynadot now publishes in his sales-letter or post or blog the exact time UTC / GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), when a promotion stops. You can find how late that exactly is, going to https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ and look there for the list with the cities all over the world. (worldclock I guess), scroll down and you see UTC/GMT at the right. But even then sometimes they have to change a bit sooner if registry does something strange with promotion to them. About that clocksite : that TOOL is very interesting if winterhour or summerhour comes along : in the States and Europe it sometimes differs from country to country. But it's also interesting when you travel.
And for Godaddy : They usually don't publish any hours AT ALL So you couldn't complain.
I'm not 100% sure but this time they used a clock with days and hours tiking. But with their clock there was something strange. Did they skip some hour or finished sooner (I thought so b ut I can be wrong) ? Anyhow a certain promotion went on for a quarter of an hour after the clock stopped.
And we have to admit : The previous promotions at blackfriday and the weekend after it and cybermonday of previous years at Namecheap for instance, wasn't so funny : Every hour you had to sit there, and sometimes in seconds or minutes a given promotion was gone for merely 1 to 5 domainnames A/hour. But their promotionprices wihtout that everyhourpromotions this year was not a good subsitution of that because of the high prices the "promotions" still had..

On the other hand they (I mean this company that works with GPB) could have made a promotion with max 50 / account etc...

In any case this whole discussion shows that Namepros itself has a lot of influence........if promotions are acounced of yet unknown registrars to members....and cause a mass of applications/registrations.

All of these threads end up creating issues for people who try to benefit including transfer out issues and eventually - inability to partake of the deal at all. Usually the only one who benefits is the OP with his referral bonus.

At least in this thread looks like some got something - in this “cash rebate” thread
    https://www.namepros.com/threads/an...nd-transfer-costs.1142061/page-3#post-7501186
no one who posted in the thread reported getting even a nickel other than the OP blank from referrals.

The fact is that no one has used the referral link, but that it isn’t a problem for me, because my intention was to let other people know about the offer, and benefit from it.

But it seems that it was a wrong idea, because now they cancel all purchases.
    Possibly also mine!

My order was also cancelled (still with no explanation).
I think their "stock" of £1 .com names promo must have ended...

I registered total 16 (coms), 8 are already there in the account rest 8 I am waiting for their email and its been 20 hours that I reg those.
Rest I was planning to reg today about some good number of domains but they ended promotion before the time.

It is really bad that they suspended some accounts, this is really a very bad taste. I hope every one will get their account restored with all the domains they bought.

they made it very clear that they do not give a sht, accounts that are suspended they do not look into, nor are trying to figure out why, its clear why, they underestimated the number of names that will be regd and had second thoughts.. and suspended most all accounts to be able to delete the names and get $$ back.. (thou my domains havnt been deleted so far).. they say their tos says clearly they can suspend any account whenever they like to and thats all they are doing, if nothing else is a problem then bye...

Imo, everyone should report this registrar, and also send a kindly worded email of how that is very bad business practice to upper management... hopefully, they learn something from it.

If it is a reseller, you don't have much to work with, frankly in terms of regulatory compulsion. That is the downside of resellers. They are not regulated, and standing up a new reseller account is pretty easy these days. Specific to this case, it sounds like happy hour where the bar ran out of booze. It happens.

Did anyone get a screengrab of the promotion terms before Dec 2nd? I'm wondering if anything was added because they saw increased demand.
