i want to know can the background image(thats in body tag) be mapped for some clickable links

if so whats the code guys

you can do this in dreamweaver very easily, besides dreamweaver i dunno

The background image can't be mapped, you need to use a separate image if you want it to be made into an image map.

The background itself cannot be mapped, but depending on the shape of the objects (if they are square/rectangle) you can create a transparent image and have that be a link. Then place the image over that area of the background.
