Wow, I think there must be other domainers taking advantage of the promo as checking lots of names seem to be registered.

Where have you been the past week? : wink : About half my "maybe" list was taken each day, although when I check whoIs and it's someone I know from NP, at least it's nice that the domain went to a good home

The .co registry changed the redemption period from 15 days to 30 days, so for a transition period there will be no dropping .co domains. I will check the domains daily anyways, so you will see them show up when they start dropping again.

you mean like how long after .co expires we can renew it? like .com is 30-40 days.. to transfer out.. I didn't even realize .co was 15 days.. so now its up to 30?

No, looks like the old way was 30 days renew Grace, then 15 days Pending Delete Restorable which I'm sure has the Redemption fee

My best guess is Pending Delete Restorable is now going to be 30 days instead

Spoiler: rough translation of old policy

C) Cancellation due to non-renewal of the domain name (Suspension):
In accordance with the ccTLD .CO , A domain name that has not been renewed will be Suspended and / or canceled by .CO Internet.
It is important to note that .CO Internet makes notifications of expiration of the names
Two months in advance and every 15 days until renewal and / or renewal Expiration of the same.

Process description:
1) Once the domain expires, the system will automatically suspend it, and it will pass through
The following states, which you can observe when you make a query in Whois.co

A) Suspension for a period of 30 days, in which the holder will have the opportunity to Renew the domain.
