Epik shows us IP addresses which performed whois checks on our domains in the Performance tab, Whois column. Its a pain copying and pasting those IPs into an IP location service if you want more details. I made a little Chrome extension which shows location data for the IP when you click on it:

If you are also interested in the location data for these IPs, you can use it too (y)

    How to use:

    1. Download .ZIP archive file with the extension from one of the following links:

Download from Namepros, download from Mega

    2. Extract the archive, an "EPIK Show IP Location Info" folder is going to appear

    3. In Google Chrome, type or paste in the address bar: chrome://extensions

    4. Turn on the "Developer mode" toggle in the right top corner

    5. Click the "Load unpacked" button

    6. Select the folder

    7. Extension is going to activate automatically

    8. You can then disable "developer mode" and delete the downloaded files

    9. Proceed to your Epik dashboard, open the dialog window with the IP table for any domain and click on any IP you want to know about :smug:

Added more functions and published the extension in the Chrome Extension store:

    https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/epik-whois-lookups-ip-loc/jagaefmjigahdcdmibkddjhgopfbojmp

Besides showing the IP location info upon click, now there are also counters with numbers of total whois lookups for each domain.

    How it works?

When you open a dialog with WHOIS, all IPs from the window are being added into the extension memory. When you open WHOIS window for another domain, the extension already knows IPs from the one before, and now counters for the matching IPs include both current and saved data.

So basically, to see accurate data for all of your domains, first you'll need to open dialogs for all your domains to "feed" the extension with data. For each domain, the data is only going to be updated when you open its WHOIS dialog window next time.

Counter numbers have colored borders – green for only one lookup, yellow for two and red for three and more lookups.
By hovering your mouse cursor over the number, you can see every domain which was ever queried by that IP address.

Update available in the Chrome web store.
Added an indicator for new lookups.

Now if the number of total lookups in the table has changed since the last time it was opened, there is going to be a "plus" box:

As well as for every domain you haven't yet checked with the extension installed.

Oh interesting, I did not know that you can actually have it displayed. Well, thank you for providing a step by step instruction on how to do it especially for those who are not really techy. Also, what are the other benefits does it gives aside from providing the IP information? Is it only applicable on google chrome? Well, this is still interesting to know. I will probably have this saved for future references. I just hope that. I won't have any problems once I download the extension. Do you guy have any problem when using it? just making sure

You don't need to be techy to install it, disregard the first post, just use the Chrome Web Store link:
    https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/epik-whois-lookups-ip-loc/jagaefmjigahdcdmibkddjhgopfbojmp

Unfortunately, its not possible to edit the first post so its a bit confusing.

No other benefits except what is mentioned above. You can use it with any Chromium-based browser: Opera, Vivaldi, Brave, Edge and others.
